Musical Instrument Donation Program
Local 14 proudly supports the Albany Fund for Education’s Musical Instrument Program. If you have an instrument that you are not using, consider donating it to a student who may not otherwise have an opportunity to own, rent or play one.
Share Your Love of Music
The Albany Fund for Education is collecting musical instruments to put in the hands of Albany’s students. All donated instruments will be refurbished and restored to playing condition before given to a child.
Recycle a Musical Instrument You No Longer Need
New and used instruments (with the exception of pianos and organs) will be gratefully accepted. Please call 518-417-2107 or email instruments@albanyfundforeducation.org to make arrangements for your instrument to be picked up. The Albany Fund for Education is a registered 501 (c3) nonprofit organization and your donation will qualify for a tax deduction. Fill out the AFE Instrument Donation Form to provide your name and address so AFE can send you a letter of thanks and acknowledge your donation for tax purposes.
You can also make a cash donation at https://tinyurl.com/instruments4albany.
This project is supported by a generous contribution from Aimee Allaud, a supporter of music in our schools, the Stewart’s Shops, John Keal Music, and the Albany Fund for Education.
